Reminds me a bit of 'The Secretary' (the movie). Neither of them have mouths, but perhaps they don't need them (less talking means less damage).

Lindy stole my thought. ;)

I was going to post, "You don't say!"

"Lindy stole my thought. ;)"

Gosh... Lindy is constantly stealing my thoughts. Somebody really ought to be monitoring her tblog activity. Oh wait! They already are.

*wink*

I've fallen in love with this drawing. I'm afraid I've not seen The Secretary, but to me these few lines and bit of red paint represent the perfect mixture of sweetness and sorrow. Perhaps I'm a bit sensitive, but I can't help but notice the gowns both people are wearing; I find myself wondering and worrying about them both.

I noticed the gowns as well... they touched on... the bad place. :<

Hee hee..

I too noticed the gowns, which led me to think they were not well, or considered not well (thus the movie reference). Finding commonality and (in my naive, romantic head) hope in such a moment tells a tale of love meant to be no matter what.

In fact, they reminded me of you. And ams.

He's not talking and she's hiding. It's perfect that it all started with a meeting of the socks. Sadness and sweetness all in a moment.

'I find myself wondering and worrying about them both.'

Exactly. :)

It seems so simple, but then again it can speak so much in its silence. I have a thing for socks, if that makes any sense, so this drawing especially appealed to me. Its awesome

Looks like you captured my life, but our gowns are blue.

Once again, I see something that I am unsure of... (where the heck do my thoughts originate)? I immediately sensed institutionalization - two poors souls who are lost in both their minds and their surroundings. The only thing they can differentiate (and find in common) with each other are their socks. Go figure - once again you made me think too much, stop it! lol christine @ swank

i'm a nurse. My life is a summary of so many hours where I imagine these two spend so much of the time in this image ...

Ah.. I'll find much pleasure in considering the significance of the colours.

Thank you for leaving me some thoughts.

"once again you made me think too much"

I regard it as a quite delightful part of posting here, that people see things worth sharing their thoughts about.

Thank you for sharing yours, Christine.

there is an innocence and sweetness about this but then when I went back to it, I saw her as being distrustful and apprehensive of his apparent kindness. The gowns seem to explain a history of why this might be so.
