Oh jongleur.

The person looks to be an extraordinarily beautiful and androgenous figure. Immediately I'm remembering the season - we celebrate the "newborn king".

What's this dissection tray, where what looks like a pregnant woodchuck's pinned down and actually as nobly expressioned as any might hope for?

Is this an indigenous madonna, and the critter part of sacrificial rite ...?

I think I may be too tired to do this.

My first thought upon seeing the rodent was, three blind mice. I too enjoy the main figure's face, but the eyes are disconcerting - almost cynical. Is he the blind one? Or are we? Or, for that matter, is science? (Just re-read Mrs. Frisby and the rats of Nimh - science vs animal testing)

Ha - I just attributed the wrong title to this piece. Just goes to show how our imagination takes us away.

The little tike makes me very sad. I don't like it when little ones are scared or in pain.

hmm. The cheapest of sacrificial rites, perhaps.
I saw a woman wearing a coat.
I didn't like her very much.

There's something of us there, no?
They can't tell us about it, but we know.

Thank you,

"There's something of us there, no?

I wonder if what troubles us about the woman, is that your statements seem to apply horribly to both of this piece's subjects?

The holocaust museum kept me awake at night, realizing that the german nation (france, italy ...) during the forties was possibly inhabited by you and me (sorry for that grammar) - victims and oppressors, one and the same, ultimately.

I like this picture. What does it stand for?

It ties in rather with the picture four posts down.
Thank you for being curious.

Take care,
