a man.
06.13.06 (1:34 am)   [edit]

I turned around
and wandered clear
of all the things we'd said.

One of the things I love most is knowing that just because a thing has been said doesn't mean it doesn't need to be whispered again (and again). To that end, I love the shadow of the glasses and the story told in all those lines next to his eyes.. but for me, I know this man through his lips: weary from all they've said true, but exhausted and beaten by all they've not.

These pages tells stories... and this one was well worth waiting for.

"These pages tells stories... and this one was well worth waiting for."

I'd say the very same things about your pages, jennifer.
And... Thank you.

There's something "spooky" about this one. Maybe it's the contrast that the shirt provides, I'm not sure.

Something about it makes me think of... makes me think that he's thinking about his life, and how fake he has been... and how it got him nowhere. Perhaps he's thinking whether or not it's worth it to continue with the facade.

In many respects, you've nailed him. In many others, he's nailed himself.

Thank you, sir.
