Had a conversation just tonight about yound girls wearing very short skirts, and other revealing clothing. My take on it is that if they got the love and attention (and affection) they so need at home, they wouldn't be looking for it from the boys in the back of the aisle in math class, or the guys at the mall, or just any human being that will blink in their direction.

So... "What about me?"

About you. I feel for your pain, my dear. I want to kick your parents in the teeth for having done this to you.

Cutter,

You keep popping by, looking, and talking a little.
You're very good to me.

Thank you.

What about me?

I've known a few of these girls.
Perhaps I've even caught a glimpse or two of her in the mirror.

More than any other, perhaps, this drawing evokes all my senses: taste, touch, scent, and those we've yet to name. In all instances, I'm left with the whisper of something deadly, and more than a little desperate, clinging to my skin.

jennifer,

From the first time you left me some words, all those moons ago, to now.. your thoughts have been absolutely vital to me.

Thank you, Jennifer. For everything.

Very nice drawing.
What about her?
She feels like an object; the absence of a face makes it difficult to identify with her, but at the same time it allows you to put anyone there. It scares me to think I might know her.

She aches for attention because she's never had much of it from her loved ones. So she asks for attention in the wrong way. I feel her pain both from my personal experiences and from my own observations of others. Beautiful work...

Yes. It scared me too, a little.
Thank you for leaving your words here.
